What

Adds .claude/skills/aphantasia-adhd-comms/SKILL.md — a reusable communication-style skill for writing instructions and responses for a user with aphantasia (no mental imagery), ADHD, and high intelligence.

Why

Distilled from a live session where generic step-by-step instructions failed: they leaned on visual cues ("you'll see…", "it looks like…") that are useless without a mind's eye, and dumped multi-phase plans that overflow working memory.

The rules it encodes

  • Aphantasia: never ask them to picture/visualize; anchor every reference to exact, readable text in quotes; confirmation via readable facts, not recalled images.
  • ADHD: one action per numbered step; reveal one phase at a time with explicit STOP points; instructions hold the state, not their memory; make decisions instead of handing back a menu.
  • Tone: bottom-line-up-front, dense not fluffy, truth over comfort, no condescension — adapt format, never substance.

Includes a before/after example and a pre-send self-check.

Captures how to write instructions and responses for a user with
aphantasia (no mental imagery), ADHD, and high intelligence: literal
text anchors over visual cues, one action per step, explicit stop
points, BLUF, decisions made not delegated back.
